National Awards
Each
year, NAWBO honors outstanding volunteer achievement through its
awards program.
The awards include Gillian Rudd Vanguard Award,
National Public Policy Advocate of the Year, Chapter
Public Policy Advocate of the Year, Woman
Business Owner of the Year, Member of
the Year, Corporate Partner of the Year, and Chapter Corporate
Partner of the Year. NAWBO South Jersey accepts nominations of members
and businesses in these categories, for local recognition and to
pass on for national consideration. NAWBO also honors its
volunteer leaders through the annual Leadership Awards. Such
awards include:
Unsung Hero, Pioneer, Teambuilder, Bridge Builder, and
Rookie of the Year. Again, NSJ collects these nomination for local recognition,
and we pass them on to NAWBO.
We
were thrilled that Anne Gallagher, our founding Chapter President,
was recognized as the National Teambuilder in 2003. To

Chapter
Star Awards
Local
members who are nominated for national awards are given our
Star Awards. This takes place at our June Annual Meeting
and Chapter Awards Dinner.
Community Awards
Each
November, NAWBO South Jersey recognizes community leaders at our
Beyond the
Glass Ceiling Awards Dinner. This gala event
is a wonderful opportunity for our members to network with high-visibility
people in our community.
