WELCOME –

As a member of NAWBO South Jersey you have the opportunity to network with women and men of diverse cultural experience, demographic backgrounds, and within diverse industries. You may not know that during the national NAWBO Conference in June 2005, our NAWBO SJ Chapter received a commendation for member Sue Kozel’s participation in a NAWBO National Diversity Task Force and submitting ideas on outreach for diversity practices.

We have an open invitation for you to keep us informed of any special events or milestones that other organizations are celebrating so that we might keep our members updated. We will review the information and post on this page. This is a place for us to share information to learn about diversity programs and resources available on the web. Our Committee has met twice as of February, 2006 and worked diligently to compile a preliminary set of resources including web pages, definitions, and ideas. We also received web suggestions from NAWBO members Lita Abele and Leeanna Roman, which are included below. Due to work schedules that included extensive travel, the work of the committee has not been showcased until now.

We also encourage you to extend an open invitation to members of diverse organizations to join us at our programs. If we are informed ahead of time, we’ll try to introduce the group’s representative and may even give them a few moments to tell us a little about themselves.

We want to include your web suggestions. Kindly e-mail your suggested web links for this page to skozel@skvisionsmedia.com. We will credit everyone who has given us websites that are selected and list these individuals on the web page.

Our diversity committee is you! Please feel free to send thoughts to NAWBO SJDiversity Chair Sue Kozel, at skozel@skvisionsmedia.com.

Thank you, and we are proud to be members of NAWBO SJ.

Sue Kozel
2005 and 2006 NAWBO SJ Diversity Chairwoman

DIVERSITY WEB SITES FOR YOUR REFERENCE
The majority of sites listed on the NAWBO SJ Diversity Web Page were compiled through the research of Sue Kozel, Stephanie Williams and Sandy Spadaro. We thank Lita Abele and Leeanna Román for suggesting sites to include.
Remember, if there is a site or area you think is missing, it’s up to you to forward the web site to skozel@skvisionsmedia.com. We’ll review it for consideration and place it on the site upon approval.
