Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

Carolynn Aristone, MSW, LCSW, CST is the founder and CEO of Center for Intimate Relationships, LLC, located Haddonfield, NJ.  As an Intimacy Breakthrough Specialist, Carolynn helps individuals and couples strengthen their emotional, physical and sexual connection. Carolynn bore witness to her parent’s own marital struggles and divorces. She also had to overcome intimacy obstacles in her own 20+ year marriage. She has first hand experience on what it takes to create a strong, meaningful, intimate life and now pays her intimacy success forward.

Carolynn holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Rutgers University, NJ Clinical Licensure in Social Work, Certification from The Gestalt Therapy Institute of Philadelphia, Clinical Certification in Sex Therapy from the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and Certification in Clinical Social Work Supervision from the National Association of Social Workers.  Carolynn is also an Expert Author for Good Therapy and has recently become a member of NAWBO.

Do you have a business tip or tool that has helped you in your business? Do you have a quote to share and inspire other members?

Tony Robbins says, “Where focus goes, energy flows”. I stay focused on the mission of my work which is to help couples feel secure in their love on a daily basis.  As a business owner, I am constantly reflecting on how I can lead a team to help me do this in a way that streamlines our internal systems, takes good care of my team and delivers the highest quality service to our clients.

What is your go to business, mindset or productivity book that has helped you in your life and business that you’d like to share? 

Running a business is both professional and personal. Lately, my favorite book has been The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins. This book has helped me push past fears of visibility and leadership. In fact, applying her 5 second rule helped me exercise the courage to be the keynote speaker for NAWBO’s Fall Expo in 2017!
