Founded by Dr. Ashana E. Williams-Bush, Ph.D., the organization provides free supportive services, crisis intervention, and holistic programs focused on healing, self-restoration, and personal growth. Through financial education, job readiness training, creative healing, youth empowerment, monthly clothing drives, and community outreach, I AM UNIQUE helps individuals rebuild confidence and stability. Upon funding availability, the organization also offers emergency housing support to assist survivors and families in crisis. Our mission is to restore identity, strengthen resilience, and remind every individual they are unique, valued, and never alone.

About you: Dr. Ashana E. Williams-Bush, Ph.D. is the Founder and Executive Director of I AM UNIQUE! A survivor-led nonprofit dedicated to healing, empowerment, and community restoration. A Certified Life Coach, Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, and Certified Domestic Violence Responder, Dr. Ashana combines lived experience with professional expertise to support individuals and families impacted by trauma, domestic violence, and adversity. A 2024 Phenomenal Woman Award recipient for Community Advocacy, she is also recognized as a PHL17 Remarkable Woman. Through leadership, compassion, and purpose-driven service, Dr. Ashana is committed to restoring hope, strengthening resilience, and helping others reclaim their identity and voice.
