JoAnne Caramelo
For the June Member Spotlight, we are featuring JoAnne Caramelo, Arbonne.
rbonne means healthy living starts from the inside out. As an Independent Consultant with Arbonne, I offer a curated selection of clean, plant-powered products for nutrition, skincare, and personal wellness. Arbonne’s formulas are backed by science, certified vegan, cruelty-free, and formulated without over 2,000 harmful ingredients. Beyond product recommendations, I’m passionate about mentoring others who want more freedom of choice in their lives. What started as a side hustle for some extra income has turned into so much more. Running my own business has pushed me to grow, take risks, and build skills I never expected - both personally and professionally and I am passionate about sharing that with others. I help aspiring entrepreneurs launch their own Arbonne businesses, providing tools, support, and guidance every step of the way. It’s about more than just wellness—it’s about creating possibilities and empowering others through a flexible income opportunity. Whether you’re seeking healthier habits, cleaner beauty, or a new path forward, I’m here to help you make it happen—one product, one goal, and one transformation at a time.
Giving back is something that was instilled in me by my parents and is important to me. I volunteer as the Program Director for the Live Like Brent Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides financial assistance to blood cancer patients through a network of eight partner hospitals concentrated primarily in the Philadelphia Region. earlier this year, I was honored to accept the foundation's Legend Award for my work raising both funds and awareness for the organization. I also serve on the board of Women, Words and Wisdom, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a twofold mission of providing scholarships to women facing financial hurdles, so they can complete their college education, and to provide women with information about issues impacting them so they can make beneficial life choices.
- What tip or tool has helped you in your business?
Always remember that people do business with people. Business is built on relationships so prioritize getting to know your clients and professional contacts so you can provide maximum value and support. - What’s a favorite quote that you’d like to share & inspire other members?
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with, so build a tribe of people who inspire you and lift you up. - What is your go-to business, mindset or productivity book that has helped you in your life and business?
Two of my favorite personal development books are Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes and Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. Year of Yes is about saying yes to opportunity even if it scares you because you never know where it will lead. Big Magic is about giving yourself permission to create something that brings you passion. - Tell us about your next upcoming business event so that we can share it with our members and followers.
