Tell us a bit about yourself and your business.

I have been involved with fashion for over 30 years. I’ve had a passion for clothes forever. In 2005 I established my personal fashion consulting business, Clothes to You. I provide a service for women who are too busy to shop or just don’t have the energy or desire. I also have a clothing and accessory boutique in my home. My goal has always remained the same – to help a woman find her “natural look”, whether it’s for business, casual or special occasion.  I believe that if you look your best, you will feel your best, and you will be your best.

Do you have a business tip or tool that has helped you in your business?

I often ask myself what makes my business different from my competitors.  Since my business is very personal, it’s what I have to offer my clients that makes the difference.  I listen to them, I connect with them, get to know their personality and what they want.  My goal is to form a trust factor – they know that I would like them to be the best version of themselves.

Do you have a quote to share and inspire other members?

The fashion icon Iris Apfel said it best- “Fashion you can buy, but style you possess”.  I also relate to this quote from her, as well… “I don’t dress to be starred at, I dress for myself”

What is your go to business, mindset or productivity book that has helped you in your life and business that you’d like to share?  BOOK

The book WOMEN Are Changing the Corporate Landscape: Rules for Cultivating Leadership Excellence, has a very important message…..”Clothes don’t just affect your confidence levels, they can affect your success, as “clothing significantly influences how other perceive you and how they respond to you”.
