NAWBO SJ Announces Keynote for the Annual Board Installation Luncheon
Marlton, NJ—10/10/18—NAWBO of South Jersey is excited to announce that the keynote for the Annual Board Installation Luncheon on September 27, 2018 was Dr. Joanne Connor, Chief of Staff to the President and liaison to the Board of Trustees of Rowan University. We will also induct our new board members at this Annual Meeting.
Dr. Connor, a member of the senior leadership team, oversees a wide variety of strategic initiatives and works closely with external constituent groups. She is responsible for ensuring progress on major University-wide initiatives and advises the President on matters affecting the University.
We are thrilled to have Dr. Connor who is such an advocate for women and is instrumental in hosting the ACE Women’s Network of Rowan University which is designed to provide avenues and opportunities for women from all areas to network, foster their skills, and develop strategies for advancement. Joanne’s ability to inspire women who attend ACE events which that provides networking and skill development to assist women in reaching their individual personal and professional goals is the foundation of the mission of NAWBO SJ. This year’s election focuses on achieving goals to empower women. “We are excited to have Dr. Connor share her leadership and vision to our members”, said President, Anne Caruso. “This will set the tone for our upcoming year of success.”
